VPTOOLS is a suite of utilities for working with AutoCAD paper space Viewports. VPMAKE creates four viewports, arranged in standard engineering form, from a single viewport, and is illustrated below.
VPTOOLS includes many other utilities. For example, the VPTOOLS toolbar (displayed at upper right) provides shortcuts to (left to right) the VPTOOLS menu, VPMAKE, VPLOCK/UNLOCK, VPSCALE, ZAV (Zoom All Viewports), VPALIGN, and a handy tool to quickly see the scale of the current viewport.
